16th Annual Annapolis Poker Run

The Annapolis Poker Run is in it's 10th year of raising money for the Melanoma Research Alliance. To date, the Poker Run has raised over $112,000 and we are looking forward to adding to that total this year. Poker Run participants share a connection to this cause and a dedication to prevent and treating advanced melanoma cases.

Together the Poker Runners are making an impact. Since it’s founding in 2007, MRA has dedicated over $160 million to melanoma research. For decades little advancement was made in the melanoma field, but that is now changing. Since the founding for the Melanoma Research Alliance, 17 new therapies have been approved for melanoma treatment. These treatment options are changing the outcomes for late-stage cancer patients.

There is still a lot of work to be done though- not only in developing new treatments, but in helping patients curtail severe treatment related side effects. 100% of your donation goes directly to the Melanoma Research Alliance, who in turn puts 100% of your money into research funding.
